Jose Cepeda

Owner & Instructor of NW Diamond Sports

A former Atlanta Braves Associate Scout is known for his ability to instruct baseball players of all ages and abilities in all areas of the game. He brings teaching experience with over 15,000 private lessons, camps, and clinics. Cepeda is a former professional player who is a certified Functional Fitness instructor and Tom House associate.

 

As a player, the Kansas City Royals drafted him out of Western Oregon University as a 3B. During his professional career (1995-2001), he was honored as a minor league all-star twice and earned two batting titles. He also broke a Southern League record for not striking out in 86 at bats. From 1999-2001 he played for the Atlanta Braves where he finished his career due to injuries.

 

In 2002, he attended the Atlanta Braves scouting school.
