NWDS ACADEMY TEAMS

Being a part of the NWDS Academy Program is an experience that should last a lifetime, not just a title. We understand the value of athletics in shaping our youth and how those lessons will apply beyond baseball. This is why we take an in-depth approach to coaching, believing our passion and excitement will encourage players to do the same. We strive to instill a love for the game and a drive to be better in every aspect of their lives. Our coaches act as mentors, committed to building strong, confident young men who are prepared for the future. The field is their classroom, and the lessons they learn are for life.

Revised Tryout Process: Every player is expected to try out each year to earn a position on the next season's roster. To get started, please use the registration link above and come to the tryout with all your necessary gear and equipment. After the Tryout Immediate Offers: Some players will be offered a roster position right after the tryout. Follow-Up Contact: All other players will be placed on a depth chart and contacted within two weeks after the final tryout date. Individual Feedback: Players not selected for a roster spot are encouraged to schedule a meeting to discuss strengths, weaknesses, and a personal plan for development. If you are unable to make the tryout date, please contact us to arrange an individual or group tryout at a later time.

The NWDS Academy offers a comprehensive, systematic training experience designed to prepare young athletes for high school and beyond. Our program is built on an academic-style approach, led by a full-time professional coaching staff, including former major leaguer and scout, Jose Cepeda. Unlike other organizations, we ensure every player receives hands-on instruction and personalized development, with no "dad coaches" on staff. What to Expect: Holistic Player Development: We focus on fundamentals, position-specific training, and mental-emotional growth to create a well-rounded and versatile player. Comprehensive Schedule: Each team plays 40+ games per season (March - July), with 2-3 weekly practices and 7-10 tournaments. Advanced Training: Our program includes classroom sessions, video analysis, and new training technology to deepen a player’s understanding of the game. Proven Track Record: We have a history of guiding and developing players into successful collegiate and professional-level careers. Full-Time Coaching: You are paying for a professional staff available to your son every day for six months of the year, ensuring consistent, high-level instruction. Program costs for the 2027 season range from $4000 to $4500.
