CATCHING WITH THE PROS
Come Join Milwaukee Brewers Cooper Hummel and NWDS Player Development Instructor Mychal Gould for a 4 week catching clinic at Northwest Diamond Sports. You’ll get in depth instruction to take your catching game to the next level. The clinic will take place every Sunday in January.
2 hours of mechanical analysis and drills, Commanding the strike zone while receiving, improving blocking technique, quicker pop times to throw runners out & have a better understanding of the overall game.
Ages 11-18. 20 player max.

January 5th, 12th,19th & 26th- 9:00 am to 11:00 am

Session 1 - Receiving (January 5th)
Session 2 - Blocking (January 12th)
Sessions 3 - Exchange & Throwing (January 19th)
Session 4 - Mental Game & Catching Intangibles (January 26th)
played his high school ball at Lakeridge high school where he was an All State catcher and Player of the Year for the Three Rivers League. He went on to play three years at the University of Portland before getting drafted in 2016 in the 18th round by the Milwaukee Brewers. He just finished his third year in affiliated baseball. Following the season he was named a organizational all star by MiLB.com. He has played both catcher and outfield at the professional level.
played his high school ball at Forest Grove high school where he was an All State Utility Player. He went on to play College Baseball at Chemeketa Community College and Western Oregon Univerity. Since, Mychal has coached 10 years of high school baseball at Forest Grove, South Salem, Wilsonville & Jesuit. During that time Mychal has worked at Northwest Diamond Sports and is currently in his 9th year as an instructor. At Northwest Diamond Sports Mychal is in charge of travel team player development.
