Come Join NWDS Player Development Instructor Mychal Gould for a 4 sessions of training at Northwest Diamond Sports. You’ll get in depth instruction to take your catching game to the next level.
Content:
Mechanical analysis and drills, Commanding the strike zone while receiving, improving blocking technique, quicker pop times to throw runners out & have a better understanding of the overall game.
Ages 11-18. 20 player max.
Dates and Times:
Saturday January 18th- 5-7pm, Sunday 19th- 5:30-7:30pm
Saturday January 25th- 5-7pm & Sunday 26th- 6:30-8:30pm
(4) 2 hour Sessions:
Session 1 - Receiving (January 18th)
Session 2 - Blocking (January 19th)
Sessions 3 - Exchange Footwork & Throwing (January 25th)
Session 4 - Mental Approach, Bunt Coverage,
Review Receiving (January 26th)

MYCHAL GOULD
played his high school ball at Forest Grove high school where he was an All State Utility Player. He went on to play College Baseball at Chemeketa Community College and Western Oregon Univerity. Since, Mychal has coached 10 years of high school baseball at Forest Grove, South Salem, Wilsonville & Jesuit. During that time Mychal has worked at Northwest Diamond Sports and is currently in his 10th year as an instructor. At Northwest Diamond Sports Mychal is in charge of travel team player development.
